simpsons movie a success

the movie is on the path to be number one at the box office this weekend with over $70mil. . who knew? Though I'm sure everyone who wanted to see it saw it this weekend- its still a success. I for one think this is way overdue but the show hasn't seemed to fizzle out over the years so yeah whatever....

new sexy pictures from britneys video

Ok ok yeah its a little too wild and over the top and semi-trashy but theres no denying that this song is probably going to hardcore and that her body looks fantastic! Ow! Ow!

**** On a not so happy note, I've had a hard time concentrating on happy Britney things with all the mess swirling since the CONTRIVED ok! mag article.

if i hear it one more time...

i WILL die.

Lindsays troubles...

I really don't know what to say I'm not really suprised. Its sad to see such success and talent slowly sliding away....just shows how phony the rehab thing was. She is in my prayers and I hope she can fight her addiction but most of all I hope she'll be prepared to face her consequences after this arrest and the other bad things, it seems that she must be headed for jail and for longer than Paris was there. As for her movie opening friday, is anyone curious enough to even see it?....word on the street is, regardless of LiLo's antics at the moment, it's still a dud.

who can she trust?

first that bitch alli ,her former assistant ends up having only used britney for her own benefit for her new album - ur ugly a shit n suck. siding with k-fed also....and now the OK! magazine shoot/interview that didnt go their way is being flip flopped around so they can sell more and make it more juicy well screw that. apparently the photoshoot isnt going to be in the issue but i bet it will leak and i made a graphic with some of the low quality snapshots, looks like it would of been a good one....anyway i know u may think im in denial about this and that OK! is all facts on britneys behavior that day ...but look what one of the crew members had to say about the events of that already infamous day (read the myspace post ive included)

"you fat f*ck!"

Britney spends the day with the boys yesterday but things quickly went to crap when she got stuck in a horde of paparazzi.... I can clearly see why she felt the need to cuss them out, don't make them babies cry you bastards- Britney said: "Hey,when you gonna get on a diet? Have you ever tried weight watchers you fat fuck? Why don't you run you need a fucking job you pussy. Yeah run. Run bitch."

Haha, she is nice enough to you guys I don't know why you put her in the position to get so pissed.

HAIRSPRAY

(8.5/10)

Well you definetly can't stop this beat...the movie has already swept the critics and is sure to bring in big box office numbers over the following weeks. The story has been around for about twenty years now, John Waters, Baltimorian director, created the chubby, fearless hero TRACY TURNBLAD, played by the unbelievably talented newcomer Nikki Blonsky. She is so full of life and spunk and her singing voice is wonderful! The movie focuses on her and her best friend Penny who love to sneak peeks at their favorite musical variety show- The Corny Collin show--- conflicts with parents and the town abound on accepting the "race" music. The cast is so huge it'd be impossible to list everyone and everything about them but it was certainly great to see Michelle Pfiefer back on the big screen- she plays the sexy villian who will stop at nothing to make sure her daughter gets all the attention over Tracy and the 'negros'. Don't fear! John Travolta is perfect! Yeah it might be hard to get used to at first but he is so funny, so silly that its irresistable. His final dance scene steals the show! Amanda Bynes and Zac Efron hopefully have a nice career ahead of them- I have always been a fan of Bynes, she plays Penny to a tee. Zac didn't bother me one bit, he has such talent. The movie is just brisk and fun, some of the songs are stand outs while others would probably require more than one listen therefore slowing down the picture if only for a little. There are some real comedic highlights aside from the music- really hilarious stuff "Devil child devil child!". And the movie has a wonderful message to boot that is still vital today over these forty years later - Queen Latifah's ballad as they march the streets of Baltimore is truly powerful. Though the finale is ferocious and ends the film on a high note- I can't help but point out that I have heard "You cant stop the beat", the broadway version, and its soo explosive and amazing that it was hard not to notice the weakness of that song come movies end but even if you went through and found tons of complaints its IMPOSSIBLE not to enjoy this movie. Musicals are back yes but audiences are so much more picky with them because you've really got to nail it good and this cast does. Don't miss HAIRSPRAY, its the most fun you'll have at the movies all summer- a breath of a fresh air that deserves to be seen by all!

Ok! Magazine tell all and photoshoot on the way.....a lot going on

The former pop star was interviewed by OK! magazine on the set of her new music video in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday.

Spears was also photographed by the mag and will grace the cover of their new issue, out next week.

“It’s a shocking interview,” a source tells us.

Ok. Nick & Vanessa, boring.

Britney’s first real interview since leaving rehab? AMAZING!!!!!!

**P.S - the song titles have been flying around but i'm pretty sure its "GET BACK" things are not quite official just yet but the fact that it is all really happening is a start ;) long live britney, its u against the world- GOOD LUCK.

x17 released this today- http://www.zshare.net/audio/2714152e1d3429/

its def cool and funky but NOT a single...its britneys typical nasally "yeah yeah" silly sexy voice. she was listening to it as she drove away the other day but im sick of only hearing clips only cuz the paps are stalking a mess.

la terza madre

the third and final and much delayed and anticipated and many other adjective conclusion to the argento trilogy that includes SUSPIRIA AND INFERNO is finally hitting the big screen this october in italy but the question is- will the US see it in 2007? Lets hope so...to be honest some of the production stills have bothered me and its looks kind of trashy but i kno he is kind of going on a different route and plus there hasnt been a good 'witches' movie in awhile. Asia Argento (most you will probably only know her as the hot girl in XxX with Vin Diesel) who claims her relationship with her father, Dario Argento, hasn't been the best- states that despite that, she had to do the film because she loved the script and felt it was part of her families legacy. The teaser trailer in a not so great quality has surfaced at youtube that u can check out- very effective, creepy, beautiful, and the music is chilling. lets hope for the best!

** the us title is either going to be The Third Mother or EXHUMED. ...i kinda like exhumed but eh...

britney gets sushi in bel-air july 15th

i think she looks great and sexy. and shes wearing a bra thats a plus makes her ta-ta's look more yummy. shes slowly but surely cleaning up her style and such so yeah same old same old lets bring on this album....

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

(9/10)

I've been supporting this franchise from the start and while I never felt like I had completely thrown myself into it all, I can safely say now that I'm a big fan and am anxiously awaiting the finale. This is by far the best Potter yet. Yes, it may lack some of the innocent magic of the first few but this isn't an innocent story- things are getting darker. In this installment, we find Harry and pal's entering their fifth year at Hogwarts where the ministry of magic has decided to keep an eye on things and keep the magic more subtle since perhaps its just uneeded for most things in life, especially after Harry was convicted of using his magic in the midst of a muggle (a normal human, if you will). Imelda Staunton plays Delores the new teacher who has come to set the rules in play, wow I've never loved a character I hated so much...haha does that make sense? Fantastic, over the top acting from her- she really plays the role- a super bitch that I hated, hence the picture accompanying this review, haha. Foreshadowing seems to linger around in this movie, though we won't know the real ending of this series for another two weeks when the book comes out, its safe to say things aren't going to be lightening up anytime soon. This movie is just gorgeous, in a scary way, I love this new director, David Yates is it? I know he is already on for part 6 so lets hope he stays around for the finale. His style is the best yet, really everything from angles, setting, flashbacks ugh...dare I say Suspiria-esque??

This was the longest book of the lot so far so for having the hard task of squeezing it all into a tight 2 1/2 hours , I think it was a success. Some parts drag in the middle but then it really just jump starts to a kick ass finale that leaves you immediately wanting more. The main cast continues to shine and work with all they have but lets hope they don't get bored anytime soon, it can't be easy to play these same characters over and over again. But yes overall, I loved this movie, the style, the humor, the story....pretty much everything about it. I'd say this one has more rewatchability than the other four. Forget the other sequels out right now, this one is the best of the summer so far and ....the best movie so far as well.

a recent pic of Britney...

theres really nothing to talk about cuz im sick of rumors and not posting anything so until something is worthwhile you won't hear much. but i just want a single out now.

have any of you heard of POSTSECRET?

A friend of mine introduced the books to me over the weekend and I was hooked! They are sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes hilarious. This guy Frank lived through a tragic time when his wife killed herself years back and he was part of the suicide helpline and things like that but apparently he laid out like a million postcards all over the world for people to write their secrets on and send them in. There has been about three books and a fourth is on its way- they are composed of the secrets that come in and illustrations and pictures are kind of collaged with them. For example stuff like "I had an abortion, and regret it til this day, 20 years later." Or "I hate my Mother in law...That's why I poisoned her" Lol ok I kind of exaggerated that one but its just fascinating- if you can't get your hands on the books go visit- www.postsecret.blogspot.com - he posts new ones every sunday!

The Devil wears J.Love

Ok this is an interesting story! Back in 2001 I was a huge fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt- I loved her in the teen flicks, I Know what you did/I still know and the vastly underratted HeartBREAKERS- then The Tuxedo came and SUCKED and I was kind of done and so was she....I hear the 'ghost whisperer' show does well and isn't bad but I haven't had time to watch it. ANYWAY to get to the point- in 2001 she made a movie with Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin called "The Devil and Daniel Webster" - I was so excited cuz it looked good, nice cast and I thought it would boost her career but suddenly everything about it started to go bad, bankruptcy, negative press and it got like shut down and vanished forver............until now- Almost seven years later, the movie will see the light of day in select theatres on July 13th. Now don't get me wrong, I have no idea if people will even see it or if it's even good- but if they went through all this trouble then it had to be decent right? I don't know- check out the trailer over at www.shortcuttohappiness.com - Oh yeah, they changed the title to SHORTCUT TO HAPPINESS, I kinda like the devil thing better but yeah who knows- look at the poster, ogle over Hewitt- I hope you enjoyed this odd blast from the past story. If this comes to any theatres near me, I'm there! I'll keep you posted but part of me thinks this movie will fall into oblivion on dvd/tv where it belonged in the first place. :\

TRANSFORMERS

(6/10)

**I'm not really in the mood to review this right now so I'm just going to kind of talk.....

Okay so here we are a week after the madness has begun and TRANSFORMERS has already made a huge amount of money. I'd been excited for awhile just because I really enjoyed the trailers but the hype was getting out of control. I wasn't a big fan of Armageddon and after being dissapointed by The Island a few summers back- I didn't get my hopes too high and I'm glad I didn't because in the end, the movie is just okay.

I'd say the first half is real strong. We are introduced to our heroes overseas like Tyrese ( I hate him) and Josh Duhmal, Josh gives one of the best performances of his career here, yes I know its just a stupid action movie and Josh hasn't had much of a career but he impressed me. Also Shia Lebouf plays a junior in High School who is kind of dorky and has a crush on the super hot Megan Fox, whose acting sucked. Shia is great but this role wasn't a far cry from Disturbia. Anyway his car ends up being a robot and things get crazy. Oh yeah and Bernie Mac has quite a scene stealer at the car dealership. Again, like I said the first half is cool, slick, funny, creepy and then.......Robots start talking, acting gets sucky, story gets boring and confusing, action scenes run long and unorganized and loud and then it ends. So yeah, there you have it. But in a summer of sequels - it was refreshing to see something different. I did like it and I'd probably watch it again but I just think they took advantage of the fan base, knowing most of these people will just eat it all up. The finale could of been a lot stronger. "You're a soldier now.." Gag me. Haha bye.

ladies...and some gents...get excited!

Ben Barna of Joblo.com writes a pretty funny article about the status in which the Sex and the City movie lies and things are looking up! The production is most likely going under way soon. "TV Guide is reporting that New Line is on the verge of brokering a deal with HBO to distribute the film with the series' producer Michael Patrick King slated to direct. I doubt I'll see this in theatres because I'm currently living a thug life, but as soon as this baby hits video stores, I'm grabbing it, taking it home, curling up with some Cosmopolitans and popped corn, and vibing out hard." HAHAHA!

The Lovely Bones

I don't know who has read the book but if you can get your hands on it I highly recommend it to you. It's very good and I'm excited to see what Peter Jackson has done with it. Such a depature from his movies! Ryan Gosling and Rachel Weisz have just signed on to star!

what i thought about 'my december'

its obviously not mainstream like they say but its NOT bad. just barely any single material that could reach the top of the charts. i wonder how its selling...we should know soon. my fave tracks are probably - Haunted, Be Still and Yeah.

My birthday was yesterday

yay for me, thought i'd put that out there. it was awesome. im 21!

Jamie Lee Curtis signs on to do a new movie!

Ah, I knew it wasn't the end....though I'd much rather it be for True Lies 2....I believe she's much more into the family film genre nowadays, oh well, here is the official news from The Hollywood Reporter/Re-tooled from JoBlo:

Jamie Lee Curtis has joined the cast of Disney's SOUTH OF THE BORDER as the second (the first being Piper Perabo) of two live action characters in the film. The Raja Gosnell-directed live action/CGI hybrid dramedy centers on a snobbish Beverly Hills Chihuahua who gets lost in Mexico and must make her way through an unforgiving heat, wild animals and a series of moral lessons to find her way back home. The unsurprisingly impressive voice cast includes Drew Barrymore, George Lopez, Andy Garcia, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, Placido Domingo, Edward James Olmos and Eddie Sotelo. Curtis willl play the dog's owner, Aunt Viv. Curtis can next be seen in, well, nothing.
