Reno:911 Miami!
(5/10)
Having been a fan of the show in the earlier years, I was super excited when I saw the trailers for this movie. Wanting to like a movie always ends up being the worst while viewing and realizing that what you're seeing is simply a missed opportunity. The movie clocks in at just about 75 minutes so you might as well be watching two or three episodes off tv. The scenes drag and repeat themselves often. Also, as was the case with me seeing South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut- On the small screen, having the language bleeped out always made it more funny for me, knowing what was probably said as opposed to hearing it. I will say the first half of the movie has the majority of the highlights- its certainly cool to see these characters in a different location but things slowly become forced. I was engaged all the way through sure, but was I laughing? Not much at all. But hey, the movie is harmless - it's just not worth the theatre price- which would mean you should wait til its on tv! Which would mean it should of stayed on tv.
interesting fact- Thomas Lennon (Lt. Dangle) must be rolling in dough, I had no idea he was a writer and responsible for the huge blockbuster "A Night At the Muesam". He also wrote - "The Pacifier", "Lets go to Prison!" And "Taxi".
